This is a good example of painfully bad photoshop abuse... it was important that the faces not be visible (no matter how much you try and lighten the image), so... yeah. My apologies.
My girlfriend and I dressed up as Uranus and Neptune at Anime Boston last weekend. I'm putting this up here since I know I won't be getting more photos of these costumes for a while.
I also can't for the life of me remember what their silly little appearing catch-phrase is. I keep wanting to say appearing gracefully, but then maybe it's appearing beautifully? appearing hungrily? appearing drunkenly? I really don't remember. @_@
I like the lighting on this one. The faces are blotted out as you wanted, but by the barely-there colors and the stance, you can tell just who is there. The photoshop effects are stellar. Nothing wrong with photoshop abuse. :3

I think you did a nice job even though the photoshop work was tired sum but sometimes hard photoshop work goes a long way with great quality. Nice work.

If you both laughed and cried when Axel faded, copy and paste now!
If you put "I love Akuroku" as your senior quote, feel free to copy and paste this 'cause we think way too much alike.
"Heralded by a new age, Sailor Uranus, appearing beautifully!"
"Sailor Neptune, appearing gracefully!"
so you were pretty much right. =]
